BCR Standard v4.1+

Assessed by ICVCM

What does CCP-Eligible mean?

ICVCM has independently assessed BioCarbon Standard’s program rules, governance and procedures against the applicable program-level requirements of the CCP Assessment Framework.

ICVCM assesses in two levels

01 PROGRAM-LEVEL — BioCarbon Standard: CCP-Eligible ✓
02 CATEGORY-LEVEL — Methodologies and credit Categories are assessed separately by ICVCM.

What does this mean for BioCarbon VCCs?

Program-level eligibility does not mean that every Verified Carbon Credit (VCC) issued under BioCarbon Standard automatically carries the CCP label. The applicable Category must also be approved by ICVCM and all relevant tagging requirements must be met.
